PapersAloud is a concept which has been under consideration for several years now, and is finally underway. Unlike any other website online, PapersAloud is going to bring an entirely new educational tool designed to bring greater accessibility to academic papers, articles, and books to anyone interested in accessing them.

Cenceived of in 2003 by Shane Greenup, the website was repeatedly put on the back burner for various technical and legal concerns. After gaining some exposure to website design and internet marketing, Shane met Klaus Burton, owner of RedSkiesDesign, and the two decided to form a partnership and make it happen.

Shortly after this agreement Shane discovered LibriVox, an incredible website which had already started undertaking much of the same work planned for PapersAloud. Initially disappointed because of being beaten to the idea, it wasn’t long before the benefit to PapersAloud was realised.

This project is still only just now at the beginning of the process of creation. This is a big project and there is every intend on doing it just right. That means that there is a lot of planning to be made and infrustructure to be prepared. This will not happen quickly, and there are no deadlines currently set, but it will happen. With the support of the work done by LibriVox, and through the innovation of the ideas behind PapersAloud (details to be revealed as they happen…), PapersAloud will grow to become one of the most recognised learning assitance websites online.

We look forward to engaging in this process with you over the course of the coming years in our forums and blog articles.
